Successful Story

Rahul & Priya

We never thought we would meet our life partners through a matrimonial website.

When we first created our profiles, neither of us was expecting anything extraordinary. Our families had been asking us to start looking, and after putting it off for quite some time, we finally decided to give it a try.

Rahul sent me a request one evening. I remember looking at his profile and thinking that he seemed like a simple and genuine person. I accepted the request, and we started talking.

Initially, it was mostly about our families, work and where we were from. Slowly, the conversations became longer. We started talking about our childhood, our friends, travelling, food and all the small things that usually don't come up when you first meet someone for marriage.

After a few weeks, we decided to meet.

I was honestly very nervous that day. I had spoken to Rahul so many times, but meeting someone in person is completely different. We met at a small café, and within a few minutes, the nervousness disappeared.

We ended up spending almost four hours together.

There was no dramatic moment. We just felt comfortable.

After that meeting, we both started taking the relationship seriously. Our families met, and over the next few months we spent more time together.

One thing we really appreciated was that neither of us tried to change the other person. We had different habits and different personalities, but we slowly learned how to adjust.

We got married in November 2024.

The first few months of marriage were definitely a learning experience. We had never lived together before, so there were many small things we had to figure out. Sometimes we argued about completely unnecessary things. Sometimes we laughed about the same things five minutes later.

Now when we think about our journey, we realise that our marriage didn't become successful because everything was perfect from the beginning.

It worked because we kept giving each other time.

We still have a lot to learn about each other, but that's actually what we like about our relationship.

We met through a matrimonial website, but today we don't think of it as “the website where we found each other.”

For us, it is simply where our story started.
