When we first connected, we didn't know where the relationship would go.
We liked each other's profiles and decided to meet.
That's all.
There was no expectation that this would definitely become marriage.
Our first meeting was simple.
We spent a few hours together, and afterward we both felt that we wanted to know each other better.
So we kept meeting.
Slowly, we started becoming part of each other's everyday life.
We knew when the other person had a difficult day at work.
We knew which family event was coming up.
We knew what kind of food the other person liked.
We knew what annoyed each other.
And somewhere in between all these ordinary things, we became important to each other.
The decision to get married came naturally.
There wasn't one particular day when everything changed.
It was a series of small decisions.
Choosing to meet again.
Choosing to understand.
Choosing to stay when things were difficult.
Choosing each other.
After marriage, life became more real.
Bills.
Work.
Family responsibilities.
Household decisions.
Unexpected problems.
Plans that didn't work out.
We realised that marriage isn't really about the wedding day.
The wedding is one day.
The actual relationship is every day after that.
We are still learning.
We still make mistakes.
We still have disagreements.
But we have also built a life that feels completely ours.
When we look back at our first meeting, we had no idea where that day would take us.
Now, that day feels like one of the most important days of our lives.
